Mt. Dora Garden Faire Happenings Nov. 3 & 4, 2012

Getting ready to head to Mt. Dora this weekend for one of our favorite Shows ! The show takes place in the park abutting Lake Dora and provides us one of the most spectacular views of any show we do !

Staging plants...got Tibouchinas, Yellow Cestrum, pansies, Citronella geraniums galore

We love to carry some natives, and the Goldenrod is especially gorgeous right now

Mt. Dora is known for it's profusion of Blue Sky Vine, and we got them, Variegated style !

The outrageous, aromatic bloom of the Granadilla Vine (aka Quadrangularis) passion Vine

This time of year, everyone adores the Pink Muhley grass that is blooming

Mitch has been growing Desert Rose for years and these large specimens are particularly spectacular right now with many hues of red and pink

Since we will be at Mt. Dora for the weekend, we will miss seeing everyone at Saturday Morning Market in St. Pete and Tarpon Springs market on Sunday.  Next Saturday, we will be back non-stop, every week for the rest of the Fall at St. Pete Market.  Exciting news, we will be trying out a new venue at the new Sunday Morning Market in downtown Tampa on Sunday, Nov. 11th. Many of our fellow vendors are doing this new Sunday market and have great things to say about it, and it has got great support from the community turning out to support it.

Stay tuned next week, will have great pics and stories from Mt. Dora.  Meanwhile, enjoy this glorious weather !
