Greetings Friends of Hibiscuses !
For those of our friends who live south of the bay, or those who like short road trips, this weekend we are traveling to Punta Gorda for the 9th Annual Hibiscus Festival. This years Hibiscus Fest will be held in beautiful Gilchrist Park on the waterfront in downtown Punta Gorda. Due to popular demand the festival will continue to be 3 days, Friday night May 17th, 18th & 19th. Saturday and Sunday, you will find a great assortment of Hibiscus flowers and other great tropical plants, live entertainment, food and refreshments in the Park both days, and of course the popular Music Fest and picnic in Gilchrist Park on Friday night.
So come on down and see us , it's only about 1 hour and 30 minutes from St. Pete. Our good friends, the Schrameks of Tropical Glass Creations will be there too.

This is our last big show of the weekend and we must say, we will have one of the greatest set ups we have ever had..enough to even rival Green Thumb festival !
Due to this show, we will not be at Saturday Morning Market this weekend, but will be there next weekend, Sat. May 25th for the final day of the regular season. Don't forget Saturday Summer Market in Williams Park starts immediately the following weekend in June and we will be there for the summer run.
Also, we are planning our big annual Spring Plant sale at our house, so check the blog next week for details about that !
