April 13 & 14th weekend, 2013 Spring is here !

We had a fabulous time at Tropiflora Nursery's Spring Sale last weekend, with many doing record sales, so many thanks for all those who came out to support Tropiflora and the rest of us vendors.

This weekend, Mitch, Larry and Dutch are off to Wintergarden for their Springfest! garden show and Annie gets to stay behind and do a little plant selling out of the yard on Saturday of some goodies we have leftover right now.  We still will have another big clear-out Plant sale from our house sometime in May.

We will not be at Saturday Morning Market this weekend, but will be the next and then, it's time for Green Thumb festival, the Grandaddy of all local Plant Festivals put on by the City of St. Petersburg, at Walter Fuller Park, on the west side of St.Pete. This show has 140 plus vendors, lots of family and community fun, guest lecturers, plant givaways and much more.  Mark your calender now and be ready to get to the festival early and bring your Carts !! 

Note, this festival is big and we and others have lots of stuff, so you will still find great choices on Sunday, as well as Saturday.  Want a preview? Most of us will be setting up at the park all day on Friday, so if you are in the area, stroll the grounds and get a good look at all the goodies.
