Catching up Feb. 19, 2020

Greetings all and we hope you all are having a great Gardening start to the New Year of 2020 !

We are pretty lucky that the Winter has been mild for the most part and that our plants are doing exceedingly well.

In fact, in seems to be warming up a bit too soon for most of us who enjoy a nice chill in the air, and the plants too, love some cool time, when they can be dormant and not struggle in too much heat.

Spring will be here  pretty quickly, so we wanted to give you a listing of our Spring-Time Plant Shows, and an update on our home base of Saturday Morning Market in downtown St. Pete.

The Market is enjoying a great turnout of crowds this Jan-February. We know that parking can be a challenge downtown, and we are thankful that people are going to great efforts to get to market each week.  There is also excitement in the air as the new St. Pete Pier Space will be open sometime in the near future.

You can still find us on the very East Row of Market (called "Farmer's Row). We continue to do a large set up each week, and our customers are continuing to love our selection of hundreds of Mini Succulents and Cacti. Our customers are also happy to see our increase in the area of Shade Garden/House plant offerings each week.

In addition, we still offer larger specimens for your Home and Garden, such as Fiddle Leaf Ficus, Epidendron Orchids,  Bougainvillea, Passion Vines, Hibiscus and other Butterfly friendly perennials.

So, onto the Spring & Market Show schedule !

Sat. Feb 22nd - Saturday Morning Market, Al Lang Field, downtown St. Pete
Sat. Feb. 29th -  Saturday Morning Market, Al Lang Field, downtown St. Pete

Sat. March 7th - Note, the downtown Market moves to the Williams Park area, just north of Al Lang Field, due to the Grand Prix Race prep.  The Market vendors will be within the Park, as well as set along 3rd street North and 2nd Avenue North. Williams Park's boundaries are between 1st avenue and 2nd avenues north, and 3rd and 4th streets north.  Note, 3rd street north, which is a one-way going north, will be closed off between 1st avenue north and 2nd avenue north, and traffic we be routed around that area.   You will find our Plant stand right at the intersection of 1st avenue north and 3rd street.   I know it sounds a bit complicated and we will post a mapping before that weekend, for your guidance !
