Taking PRIDE in our city and our Market !

This is a busy weekend for the town of St. Pete as the Pride Festival and Parade is going on, along with other great activities.

Don't forget to visit Williams Saturday Morning Market before you head out to your fun destinations !

This week in the nursery, our Giant White Flowering Milkweed, aka "Hairy Balls" is blooming.  So nicknamed for the unusual seed pods, it's a great feeder plant for Monarch Butterflies that are still flitting about.

We are bringing 3 large specimen plants to market for sale.

Many happy customer went home last week after celebrating our "Going Batty" at Market.

We have one large specimen of the Bat plant and 2 baby specimens (all soon to flower) left, so you still have a chance to get this unique plant.

Tillandsias (Air Plants) are back at Market this weekend and we have some gorgeous ones for share.

The Air plants we sell are all from Central and South America, and blooms oh-so-colorfully !

Looking around the nursery this past week, our Lady Margaret Passion Flower Vines are very happy campers - just blooming their hearts out and loving our heat which doesn't bother them a bit.

Her brothers, the Purple Possem Edible Passion Fruit Vines are doing the same and starting to produce tons of fruit.

Come check them out at market !

Do you know that our nursery is one of the few Florida West Coast places that has one of the largest selections of mini-succulents?!

Specializing in less-common types that you find at the Big Box stores, all our minis are unique for their form, texture, colors and strength.

They continue to be a huge, and we say H U G E, gardening trend and one we and our customers love.

And, this week, we celebrated Mitch's Birthday....64 and no where near to retirement yet - he just keeps going and keeps us all on our toes !  If you have a chance, stop by Market and wish the Plant Hunter a big Happy Birthday.

Continuing our new focus at Summer Market this year, we will still be bringing a huge variety of exotic tropicals, Butterfly friendly plants, Mini Succulents, Foilage, Air Plants and much more. This summer we decided not to scale down our display and want to continue to bring you the best, the unique and unusual in our large display. Check us out on the NE corner of Williams Park.

Here's the scoop:
