We are Passionate about the New Season 2014-2015 !

Well, it's time to START!!!

Just as one of our newest Passion flowers started to bloom this week, thus our preparations start for the new Fall/Spring Market and Plant Show season, and we are raring to go!

First up, is the opening of the 13th season of Saturday Morning Market, downtown St. Pete, which happens on Sat. Oct. 4th.

Still located in the parking lot of downtown Al Lang Field at 1st street and 1st Avenue South, 120 plus of your favorite vendors will be back to welcome our community as it once again comes out to support this wonderful grassroots local community market.

The Market runs every Saturday from October to the end of May, 2015.  Known as the largest 1 day market in the southeast US, it's a don't miss for locals and visitors alike.

Second Up, and happening at the same time, we will be set up at:
Tropiflora Nursery in Sarasota for their annual Fall Plant show -Friday October 3 through Sunday October 5.  This is a three day show featuring thousands of Tropiflora's own plants placed on sale in special tents and on benches set up for the sale. All are sale-priced and marked for your convenience. In addition to their own plants, they generously host about 20 outside vendors (like us !)  selling plant material from bamboo to bougainvilleas, crotons, aroids, ferns, orchids, succulents, shrubs, annuals, fruit trees, palms, Butterfly friendly plants, Hibiscus and much much more.  Free coffee and donuts in the morning. The Oaks barbecue restaurant has a tent with delicious lunches for sale. Live music brightens the atmosphere. Free parking and Free admission! Pet friendly! Hours are 8am to 5 pm Friday & Saturday, and 10am to 3pm on Sunday. They do have plant carts available for use, or bring your own.  You will find Mitch Armstrong Nursery set up at the rear of the property under the shade of the towering Bamboo trees.  The nursery is a an easy quick drive from the Tampa Bay area and we urge to come visit this beautiful nursery and join the festivities.
