Market Hapennings and New Plants this week Feb 9th, 2013

Greetings all and aren't we just the luckiest to continue to have such great weather lately?  We have some great new plant stock this coming weekend for our markets...Here's some pics of just some of the great stuff we have:

Heliconia are blooming again, and we have the "Lady Di" which has a gorgeous Red bloom spike.

We are stocked back up on our popular MINI Plants that customers are using for terrariums, fairy gardens and home and office plants.  This includes some very cool Mini Ferns that we haven't had before.

Along with the tropical Mini's. we also have MINI Succulents...perfect for using to make Mini succulent rock gardens in containers, or use out in the landscape to start creating a unique look.

Canna Lily --one of Mitch's fav plants, this one is called "Sunburst" and has gorgeous red/green/orange varigated foliage and a soft pink bloom.

We still have a few of the "Tropicana" Canna which has the striking red/orange bloom.

Lavender !!  Everybody has been waiting for it and we finally have it...gorgeous lavender spikes and delicate foliage.  Many ask if Lavender will last, and the answer is yes..now, they do love the cooler/lower humidity weather, but if located in a morning sun area, they can last through summer if given good waterings by their owners !

Osteospermum, commonly called "African Bush Daisy" is a great addition to any garden  or used in containers. It will reward you with long lasting blooms. We have them in 5 different colors right now.

Gazinia ! Another great addition of color to your garden that can take the sun, heat and humidity and will give you great color for many, many months.

Off to the side, you will see we have back in stock, our popular Maple Leaf Geranium.  One of the hardiest geraniums around, it can last for years, and the varigated foliage is so pretty, it looks great even when it's not blooming.

What else is new? Senecio succulent, Lavender serenity,  Gallardia (Indian Blanket Flower), Dwarf Papayas, more aromatic Almond Busy, Double Purple Datura, Spotted Aloe, and much much more !

Here's our schedule for the coming weekend going into next week. We hope you can make it down to markets to get some fabulous plants to get started on your Spring & Summer gardens.
