Happy New Years ! Here comes 2013 !

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE !

We trust everyone has had a lovely Holiday season and soon it's time for us all to jump into 2013 with renewed spirits !

We had spectacular crowds at Markets right before Christmas and many thanks to all for coming out and supporting us and our fellow vendors at Markets around town.

Please note, tomorrow, Sat. Dec. 29th, we will NOT be at Saturday Morning Market, downtown St. Pete but we WILL return on Saturday, January 5th.

We WILL be at Sunday Market at downtown Tampa this Sunday, Dec. 30th

Due to the rainy forecast, we decided to take a day to work around our nursery and get some things accomplished before the busy Spring Season begins.  Our new Greenhouse is almost complete and soon we will be able to grow even more beautiful plants to bring to you.

As many of you may know, we have been operating without Greenhouses for years, and by growing and holding stock out in the open air property of the nursery, our plants do very well going from our nursery to your yards and homes, with little ill effects as they are already open-air hardy.

The new greenhouse will provide us with space to start plant cuttings and seedlings in an ideal environment, protected from the elements, that will give them a great start. Once they are of size to pot up into bigger containers, the plants will then be put out in the open Nursery to continue to grow and thrive.

For many years, we have wanted to have part of the Nursery property open for Retail business, so our customers can come down and enjoy the beautiful rural area of Palmetto and have greater access to our stock, while enjoying the tranquility of the Nursery property with it's surrounding Tall Oaks and Bamboos, watching the Talipia fish bathe in the warm water of our Pond and enjoying a little peace of heaven away from the City.  The Greenhouse is just one small part of this long process and we are excited to finally be making some headway after many challenging years in our ever-changing economy.

For now, at the Dawn of this New Year of 2013, we always count the blessings of our Families, our Friends, our loyal Customers and the Community Market family that we are a part of. We wish everyone good things for 2013 and for your continuing support to our small business.
