Mitch and our special helpers, the Sousa's are off this weekend to Springfever Botanical show in the beautiful downtown historic district of Wintergarden, and sorry we can't be at Market this weekend, but, we will return to Sat. Morning Market in downtown St. Pete for a beautiful market day on April 21st. THEN ! drum roll ! The following weekend, the Grandaddy of Botanical shows, St. Pete's own Green Thumb Festival will take place.
Again, here is the info for Green Thumb, so mark your calendars:
When: Sat. and Sunday, April 28th and 29th.
Hours: 9am to 4pm
Where: Walter Fuller Park, 7891 26th avenue north (just a bit west of Tyrone shopping center). (Enter the area from the north, but turning off Tyrone Blvd at 80th street, and head south. Enter from the south, by coming down 22nd avenue north to 80th street, then turn north)
Parking: Free, large city lot next to event, and on-street parking nearby, but pay attention to signs from the city and neighbors alike and please don't block anyone's driveway!
Advice: Come early, and bring carts ! And Sundays, you can find some great deals
Where will we be?? Our spots are designated #65 thru 70. We will be set up right along 80th street, about 10 spots down on the right, if you enter from the big parking lot. Look for American Flags flying on our tent poles !
