Cool Front Coming Finally !

Thanks for your patience as we catch up with everyone on the blog. The last 2 weeks have been a steamer here in Florida but we are eagerly waiting for a lovely cool front to move in tomorrow, which will make for a gorgeous Fall Florida weekend!

Our new spot at the downtown St. Pete Market (Row 6) is a nice change but we sure are missing our nice shaded space, but we think being out more in the sun shows our plants off better, and we have more room for display. Also, we are more in the middle of market and it's great to hear the music better and be surrounded by yummy food vendors !

The pic above is the lovely "Lady Margaret" Passion Vine, one of our personal favorites. She blooms nearly all year long, has pretty dense foliage, and is very hardy and always looks great. We have also been selling a lot of the Pipe Vines, which is great host/feeder plant for swallowtail butterflies.

In the next few weeks, Bougainvillea will be ready to bring to market, as well as some other hardy Fall perennials. We will continue to bring a great assortment of unusual crotons and hibiscus, and we have a great healthy crop of assorted palms.

All for now, hope every gets out to enjoy lovely weather, visit markets and do some gardening !
