Gamble Plantation Weekend ! This weekend, we did a plant set up at Gamble Plantation in Palmetto, FL. If you have never visited it, it's a beautiful property with historical housing. They had over 5 thousand people come through over Sat. & Sun. for a free tour of the mansion ! MY Promotions had arts & crafts artisans and were kind enough to let us set up a great tropical plant booth. Hollyhocks and Tibouchina were the highlights of our booth and we are grateful for the turn out that came out to support us and our unusual offerings. If it was not for the support to small nurserymen like us, we might have to go to work at "Home Depot"..ouch...don't wanna do that !! Bless you all.

We were also able to advertise support the local downtown Bradenton Market that started up a month ago and have great organizers that want to grow this renewed market into a great community gathering. We are proud to be a part of the energy of this renewed market. The market is located on Main street right off of Manatee Ave. West, and there is free parking all around the area. Market hours are every Sat. from 8am to 1pm. Come on out and support the vendors that strive to bring great product to our local community. They also have live music, lots of tables to sit and rest and enjoy the music and atmosphere. The market is continuing to grow, adding new vendors every week.

As the weekend ends, Mitch and I are renewed that warm weather has returned and we are working hard to get our nursery organized so we can open it to the general public for retail during the week soon. Great thanks and warm thoughts to all the new friends we met at Gamble this weekend, as as always, happy gardenin' !!
