Also this weekend, on Sunday, Nov. 20th, we will be part of the opening of the new "Thrill Hill" Market in the Old Southeast neighborhood of St. Pete.
Annie is working with the owners and team of Old Southeast Market, to start this new community market, that will serve the Old Southeast Neighborhood, Southside St. Pete and Downtown St. Pete.
The vendors will be focused on artisans who bring wonderful product for home, health, body and fun. Our mission is to provide a home base for new, emerging local artisans. Along with them, we will have some great heritage vendors, well known at other markets around our area.
The Old Southeast Storefront has some great food and drinks available and they are doing special give-a-ways and raffles to celebrate opening day. With music provided by local favorite, ZoeCate, we are looking forward to another beautiful Fall day.
The Thrill Hill Market runs once a month, on Sunday, and market hours are Noon - 6pm. Note, many vendors may set up early, so feel free to stop by on your way to other great events happening around the Burg this Sunday. Vendors will start breaking down around 5pm to give them time to pack up before dark, but the storefront will be open until 9pm.
This week, we have some great new plant stuff -
Lavender is back in season - lavender loves this time of year and you can't go wrong with this aromatic herb around your garden, as well using it for culinary purposes.
We have some great new color for your Fall and Winter gardens - all great perennial specimens that will give you long lasting color and help your butterflies and bees happy -
Celosia Intenz, Gaura, Mona Lavender, Cannas, Osteospurnum and Digitalis.
As we mentioned above, we have a large, lovely assortment of Air Plants (tillandsias), and our helper Susan, will be there to help you select a great specimen as well as give you great growing and display advice. Susan's hubby, Larry, will be there to help you with our great selection of landscape plants such as Passion Vines, Bougainvillea, Hibiscus, Giant Milkweeds and Dwarf papyrus.
Our super helper, Jeremy will be there to show off our fresh assortment of new Mini Succulents and Cacti, and give you some great advice about care and display.
This weekend, there is a ton of things going on around downtown St. Pete, and we hope you have time to stop by Downtown St. Pete Market and see us at Thrill Hill Market!
