Spring has sprung ! Market and Botanical Show scheduling

Hello March and welcome Spring Time in the garden !

The beginning of March signals our time for getting ready for our Spring Botanical Show season and we can't wait.

First, let us give you the schedule about our home-base market here in St. Pete. The Saturday Morning Market, downtown St. Pete will be affected for the next 2 weeks by the Grand Prix Auto Race - here's the low down:

This coming weekend, Sat. March 5th, the Market moves to Williams Park, downtown St. Pete. Market hours are still 9am-2pm, there is plenty of parking around the Park, and you will find all your favorite vendors.  The following weekend, March 12th, the Market will be closed due to the actual race but will return to our usual spot at Al Lang Field on Sat. March 19th.

Second, here's the Armstrong Nursery schedule for the next 2 weeks:
This weekend, we will NOT be at the Market set up in Williams Park. Instead, this is our weekend to head down to beautiful Punta Gorda for a show at Gilchrist Park Saturday and Sunday.

Next weekend, Sat. and Sunday, March 12 & 13th, we head off to our first BIG Botanical Show of the season at Leu Botanical Gardens, in Northeast Orlando. The Leu show is one of our favorites as the botanical park is just gorgeous this time of year, and this show attracts thousands of customers from all over the state of Florida.  Free admission to the park is a big savings for customers.  Leu Gardens is an EZ one-tank trip from the Tampa Bay area and worth the trip.  Bring yourselves and your carts and find amazing plants from some of the most special plant growers around the state !

May 21 - Saturday Morning Market
May 28th - Saturday Morning Market (last day of regular season)
