That is, the "Christia obcordata" aka Butterfly wing plant crop is suppose to be ready the 2nd week of June and we can't wait. We were hoping to have them by Green Thumb time this past April but there was a crop failure and there had to be a do-over ! Once the Christias are ready, we will let you know, and you can purchase them at Market, or by private appointment. Unfortunately, we are not set up for Shipping.
This coming Saturday, May 30th, is the last day of regular Saturday Morning Market season. Closing out our 13th season, we will immediately head into the Summer Market season at Williams Park in downtown St. Pete.
We have had a great season and want to thank everyone so much for their support, patronage and friendship and we hope the thousands of plants that went out through our booths at markets and shows are enjoying their new homes with you all.
Heading in to the summer market, we do downsize our set up a bit but will continue to have exotic tropicals, butterfly friendly specimens, Air Plants and Succulents. We will also continue to have our popular hanging Shell Chimes and Garden Art.
We also will continue to be available during the week if you can't make market, so feel free to call or email us to set up an appointment here in St. Pete.
Here's the scoop:
