Tis the Season to Buy Local!

We had a great turnout for the Fla. Botanical Garden show last Sunday up in Largo, with lots of people buying plants and staying to enjoy the Holiday Light show in the gardens.  Thanks to everyone for coming out to support us vendors. We saw many friends and made some new ones, and hope to see many who have never been, come to the Saturday Morning Market in downtown St. Pete to check out a great place where you can fill your Holiday gift list completely with all the diversity of products at the market !

While the rest of the country has been in a deep freeze, here in Florida, we are continuing to bask in the sun and that makes us and our plants happy!

This coming Saturday, we will continue to have a great assortment of colorful bougainvillea in trellis and hanging baskets and much more. We have a great new assortment of unusual Tillandsias too.

While you are at Market, may we suggest you check out a few of our favorite things, ie, favorite market vendors/products, and you can do a lot of one-stop shopping with them. They are Steve and Kim Schramek, of Tropical Glass Creations who do fused glass art in a variety of areas..yard art, jewelry, hanging ornaments etc.  The Schrameks are a great example of 2 people running a very small, local personal business who work very hard to bring affordable product to everyone.

No Markets for us this Sunday, so it will be a day to work around the nursery and catch up on our own garden !
