We're Back !!!!!!!....and ready for the 2013/14 Market and Plant Show season. We hope everyone has had a great summer and thanks to the many that kept in touch with us by email and at Summer Market at Williams Park as well that showed up for the couple of Plants sales we had this summer.
This summer.....what can we say ? hot hot hot, whew, hot, but thank goodness for heavenly rain throughout that kept our nursery and our gardens well watered. Even with this heat (and we swear, yes, this was the hottest summer ever, we are certain !), our personal and nursery plants thrived.
We also had the opportunity to visit our favorite getaway place, Weeki Wachee River, do lots of great kayaking and stay at our favorite rental, Moose Cabin...more about that later in the blog, so you gotta read to the end :)
Okay, let's get started on What Is Happening ! There is a lot of info here, so we highly recommend you Bookmarking our blogspot and/or this message so you have ready access to our schedule.

Tropiflora Nursery Fall Plant Show:
While Mitch & Susan are manning our large booth at St. Pete Market this coming Saturday, Larry and I will be done at one of our favorite places in the world, Tropiflora Nursery, in Sarasota. It's time for their big Fall Sale and it's happening this Fri/Sat/Sun, Oct. 4 through 6th. Tropiflora, one of the worlds leading nurseries in Bromeliads, Tillandsias and Rare Tropicals, will have all their inventory on sale as well as welcome 20 of their special vendor friends (yeah, we are one of them), each with our own specialities, to set up too, so it's one stop shopping for almost any type of plant you are looking for. Free entrance, free parking, music and food, so check out their website for all the info. It's just a short hop down from the Tampa Bay area, so a great one-tank trip and we promise you will have a great time.
