Well, don't know about you, but we thought February just zoomed by and here we are finally heading into official Spring time...of course, our "winter" has been very springlike, except for a few cool days here and there, and looks like this weekend, we will have another short bit, but looking forward to actually wearing a sweater at not breaking a sweat !
The petunia at the left is a new one that we came across. Petunias are not something we usually carry, as they are very commonly found, but this one really made us stand up and notice and I love having it sitting on the patio.
One of yours, and our favorite plants is back and that's the Egyptian Papyrus ! We have them in 3 gallon and they are gorgeous.
March always brings the start of changes in our schedule and of course, our big botanical shows around the state that start soon. This past Wednesday marked our last appearance at the Phillippi Farmhouse Market in Sarasota. We had a great time there for the past 6 weeks and will look forward to returning to it in the Fall.
This weekend, with the weather forecast more and more calling for some short, but pretty cool weather, we will concentrate on doing Saturday Morning Market in St. Pete, then spend the rest of the weekend making sure our plant stock is protected. This Saturday is also the last time we will be at the St. Pete Market for 3 weeks, due to our show schedule and the Grand Prix Race happening. This coming week we will be busy preparing for our 1st spring show at the Master Gardener Sale in Ocala.

MAY 2013
The Saturday Morning Market continues through the end of this month, with the closing day of the season, Sat. 25th. The Market organizers are planning of running a Summer Market, so stay tuned for news about when and where that will happen.
May is also the time when we do our big Spring Plant Clearance Sale here at our house in St. Pete, so stay tuned for that !
