Dwarf Poinciana
We are humming right along in July here and yes, it's hot, but at least we are getting some good rainy days (yeah, free water ! ). We have some new bloomers happening to bring to Market and yard sales, including the Poinciana, Thryallis, Hibiscus, Plumeria Pudicas, Big leaf Tibouchina and more, are they all are just thriving with the rain and the heat.
We have 2 things happening this weekend, 1st of course, is being at Saturday Morning Market at Williams Park. Market hours are 9am to 1pm and there is plenty of free parking all around the area. This summer has seen the largest number of vendors to participate in the summer market, so come on down if you haven't had a chance to yet.
2nd, Mitch is running a yard sale/plant sale at our good friends, Alex and Trish's house on Saturday too. Their house is an icon in the northside neighborhood, being the big white 2 story Adobe-type house across from Sweetbay market on 9th street north and 34th avenue. You can park and access entrance into the courtyard where the sale will be, on 34th avenue north, just east of 9th street. Please don't forget to not block any of the neighbor's driveways, thank you !! He will run the sale from 9am till around 6pm on Saturday, so stop on by. Trish is doing a big cleanout of her garage too and always has some great goodies !
