Sorry to say, we couldn't make the Safety Harbor Market today as Mitch's back has been giving him fits and between that, and my sore ribs from a fall, we are a sorry mess right now, but hopefully on the mend. We are calling in friends to help us with the load for this weekend at Downtown St. Pete and Tarpon Springs. We are taking a double space at the St. Pete Market as we have so much great stuff, but some of it, we have low numbers on, so don't wait for Green Thumb..come check us out now!
Speaking of Green Thumb, we are working like madly with all our fellow nursery buddies to find stock for the event. As we I blogged about before, quantity is down everywhere, some normal stuff that we have is nowhere to be found, and everything is still about 3 weeks behind on growing-time. We heard from the City that many vendors had to pull out of Green Thumb because they got hurt so bad in the Freeze of January.
What WILL we have at GreenThumb definitely? Our Hollyhocks of course, lots of gorgeous lavender, passion vines, Almond Bush, Pipe Vines, Fern, Strawflower baskets, Figs & Bananas, Wollemi Pine, great blooming Osteospernum, Milkweed, Blue Hibiscus, European Fan Palms, Areca Palms, Tibouchina. We are confident that we will be able add many more popular butterfly plants along with a few surprises!
Hope you can make downtown St. Pete Market this Sat, there is a ton of great stuff going on in the "Burg" this weekend..hope to see you there, and of course, look for us at Green Thumb. I will blog about our exact location and more info early next week.
