Ocala Here We Come !

This weekend, Mitch and I are on our own and must forgo our local markets to head up to Ocala, FL for their Spring Master Gardener Show!This is the first of our 5 biggest Spring Botanical show and is very popular with the locals....there is always a huge line outside the entrance before starting time and once they let them in, look out for the stampede !!

Looks like some rain over the next few days so it will be a challenge to get the load on without being super heavy and wet, and then, setting up the booth....bringing our water shoes and rain slickers !

This is one of our favorite shows, the area is just gorgeous with rolling green hills and horse farm estates abound. The show has over 100 specialty plant vendors, many of them, our great friends, so it's going to be great to see all of them after this especially-trying winter..I am sure we will all have winter horror plant stories to share lol.

If you want to do a nice spring road trip, this is an ez drive from the Bay area..suggest you take the "back roads" to have a relaxing drive and see some great country. For info about the show, google "marioncountyfl.org" for info and directions.

After the rain, the weekend is suppose to be gorgeous, so now is the time to get out and enjoy some much needed warmth and sunshine, and a great time to start renewing your yards and gardens !
