Winter Garden FL Spring Fest this weekend April 8 & 9, 2017

This coming weekend, we will be at the Winter Garden Spring Fest, located in the historic downtown of the lovely little town of Winter Garden, FL (located just a bit west of the Orlando area).

Winter Garden is one of our favorite small Florida towns and Mitch and I stay there quite often on our Plant-hunting journeys.

We will be happily staying at our favorite place, the Historic Edgewater Inn located right there in downtown.

The photo above is a shot of part of our booth at last years show. The show welcomes over a 100 plant, flowers and garden related product vendors and it's a great place to get some new additions to your Spring and Summer gardens.

There are also many cute little stores throughout the downtown area, along with lots of yummy food options.

The show runs Saturday 9am to 5pm, and Sunday from 11am to 4 pm.  Look for the Armstrong Nursery booth at the very west end of the show, right across from the beautiful City Hall.  Free admittance, lots of easy near-by parking.  They have a great and efficient system of ferrying your purchases from each booth to a central location where you can drive up to retrieve them.

Winter Garden is an easy one-tank trip from the Tampa Bay area, whether you are taking I-4, to 429, or the laid back way of taking the parkway up to SR 50, and heading east across.

We will be back at Saturday Morning Market, Sat. April 15th for our regular market day, and the following weekend, April 22/23 is the big Green Thumb Festival here in St. Pete.
