Mothers Day Weekend at Market

This weekend, we celebrate Mother's Day and for us, that applies to not only Mothers, but Aunts, Friends, Caretakers, and anyone else who has had a great Motherly influence on our lives !

With beautiful weather forecasted, come on down to the Saturday Morning Market and we guarantee that you will find something for that great Lady in your life !  Whether it be garden art, food, clothing, household decor, or PLANTS, the market is a one stop shop for anything you need.

This weekend, we have a few particular items in our Market nursery set up that women particularly like, such as:

The Caladiums at right are a smorgasbord of color and varigation and whether used in a shade garden or as a potted plant, they are guarantee to put smiles on Any one's face.

These dwarf Anthuriums are small, but full of blooms and buds. This is one great house plant, or on the porch in a beautiful little pot. Low maintenance, they get by with a few waterings twice a week and will provide months and months of blooming.

Our new Calatheas are a bit hit with everyone. The varigation of the leaf along with tinges of purple underneath makes this new hybrid spectacular.

Again, great house or porch plant, or put it in the ground in a nice shady area.

We love varigated plants, and this multi-colored stem pineapple is a rare beauty.  If you want something truly unique, this is a sure bet !

More varigated loveliness for the garden beds, with these varigated Elephant Ears.  We highly recommend them as a large potted plant and they will be very happy on a porch or lanai.

We don't have enough room to show you all the other great shade garden plants we have right now ! But for those who are looking for Shade/House plants, you will find a wide selections of goodies in our booth.

Continued crowd favorite, the Vancouver Centennial Geranium, aka Maple Leaf, is a compact plant, that even when not blooming, looks lovely.  These will last for years as house or porch plant.

Want something truly unique? This Saddle Oyster Shell hanging chimes will look so great hanging out in your garden, on your porch, free form, or hang it against a wall for decor.

The shells make a lovely sound in the breeze and are durable !

For those of you looking for more great plants for your butterfly gardens, we continue to have a great selection of host, nectar, and food plants for these lovely flying critters.

There's a lot more to be seen, so hope you come on out to Market and check our booth out. Remember, Armstrong nursery is located on the very back (East) row of the market about midway in the row..you can't miss us, just look for all the fabulous color and greenery !

See you at market !
