Thanksgiving 2013

Our schedule this weekend:

Saturday Morning Market, downtown St. Pete, Sat. Nov. 30th

Sunday Market at Hyde Park, downtown Tampa, Sun. Dec. 1

Catching up.......
Sorry for delay in blog posting this week, due to Thanksgiving and some other factors, this week has been one of highs and lows but at the end of it, we are truly Thankful for:

Having a day off to enjoy Thanksgiving with family, here in St. Pete and down in Palmetto

Surviving a scary day on the Sunshine Skyway bridge this past Wednesday morning, when the trailer skin started peeling off in 40 mph winds and the truck brakes went poof ! nothing like spending 7 hours broken on the Skyway bridge in mighty winds, to bring more perspective on things.  But we had angels looking out for us and we finally made it home safe and sound.

Spending time with our close friends, the Mize family and little (almost 4 year old) Mighty Morgan who is mightily fighting his battle with cancer and being grateful  that we can be around to help him and his family as his battle has been winding down these past few weeks.

Our Market family, we couldnt' do market, or probably even keep going on day to day stuff sometimes, if it weren't for treasured Market family friends.

and Plants ! yes, we are grateful for Plants....their beauty and origins are a constant inspiration, not only to help provide an income to us, but for surrounding and nurturing us as Mother Nature intended.

As November closes, December and the holidays approach. We have been blessed with gorgeous weather and the plants continue to thrive.  Upcoming, beside the market days, we have a special day to vend at the Fla. Botanical Gardens in Largo, on Sunday, Dec.  8th. That day, they have a special Holiday Market day with 30 plus plant vendors as well as many wonderful Arts and Craft Vendors, and if you want to do something really special, come out and see their Holiday light show when the Garden is aglow with beautiful Xmas lighting.  Will give you more info about that next week, but put a mark in your calendar.

All for now, the trailer is loaded, we still have gorgeous Bougainvillea, Xmas Cactus Baskets and much much more, so come on out and Buy Local, Support Local and BE local !!
