Market and Plant news for Jan. 26 & 27th weekend

We had a great time at the Phillippe Farmhouse Market this past Wednesday down in Sarasota.  Our display of plants was a real crowd pleaser and the organizers do a great job with this Market.  The day was coolish, but sunny and we had the added pleasure of having Florida folksinger, Mindy Simmons, serenading all of us in the background.

One of the things we love about markets is sharing the day with fellow vendors and this past Wednesday, we also got to share our day with lovely Hens, who brought their owner to market to sell his unique Henhouses.

Mitch just loves chickens and they love him back!

Customers loved our Bougainvillea, Tilansias and Cedar Birdhouses
We will be returning to the Phillippe Market next Wednesday, Feb. 6th !

So, what about this weekend? Can you believe this gorgeous weather we continue to have? We feel a little guilty when much of the country is in deep freeze, but no sooo guilty because we are going to enjoy this cool but sunny weather for as long as we can, because as we all know our Summer heat will be here soon enough. And yes, it's a great time to do some gardening and get things established.

We are stocked back up on Bougainvillea trellises in lots of gorgeous colors. We also have a great selection of aromatic plants right now:  Night blooming Jasmine, Daytime Star Jasmine, Almond Bush, Popcorn Cassia, Rosemary and Lavenders.

Here's our schedule for the weekend:

Saturday Morning Market, downtown St. Pete
www.saturdaymorningmarket.com

Al Lang Field lot  1st street and 1st avenue south

Sunday Morning Market, Tarpon Springs
Market hours 10am-3pm

Hope to see you at market, come on out and enjoy our gorgeous weather, get some great local goods and celebrate our community !
