Tis the season to be jolly

December has gotten off to a great start and we have gorgeous plants for this coming weekend when we will be participating in 3 events !

Our very special event is the Plant & Gift Sale at Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo. You may know the gardens since it is adjacent to the popular Heritage Village.  They put on a spectacular Light show during the holiday season each night, and this Sunday, Dec. 9th, they invited 45 specialty plant and Yard Art Vendors to participate at the Gardens.  You will find us Plant vendors along a special path just outside the entrance to the garden. Free admission and parking !  For details, check out their website at:
www.flbg.org for directions to the gardens and more info about vendors, the Light show etc.   The Plant show on Sunday is 10am to 4pm and we hope you stick around to tour the gardens before dark to see all the showy specimen beds and trees, and stay after dark to stroll around this Fantasy of Light.  Great event for all ages !

Saturday, Dec. 8th, we will have a gorgeous Holiday display at Saturday Morning Market, in downtown St. Pete.  We know many of you had a challenging time getting to Market last weekend due to the Boat show and Santa parade, but this weekend will be much easier to get down to market and find easy parking. Remember, we are in the very last (East) row of Market...just look for all the color !

On Sunday, Dec. 9th, we will also be set up at the Downtown Tampa Market, located right by the Tampa Theater, on Franklin street and Zack.  This market is rapidly growing fast, and there are some other great events and happenings around the area at the same time, so it's becoming a great Sunday destination.  The market hours are 10am-3pm.  EZ to get to and since it's a Sunday, much less traffic.  From St. Pete, it's just a quick jump over the Howard Franklin, exit at downtown, come on down to Zack, and take a left and you will find us.  They also have an Ice-Rink located nearby, other Holiday events and the historic Tampa theater is running some fun Holiday movies for all ages.

With all this happening, we have a ton of plants to offer at all events ---here's a teaser of just a small part of what we have :

Bougainvillea galore

It's a great time of year to get these in and the Dwarf thornless Pixie Boug is always very popular and we have many looking for good homes

Don't have room for a Boug vine? No problem, we have them in full Hanging Baskets too

Geraniums, Violas and Pansies are great cool weather Fall/Winter plants.  Our popular scented geranium, Lemon-Lime Citronella is back in stock !

No Box stores or supermarkets can beat the size and health and prices of our Xmas Cactus plants. Coming into bloom just now, the will continue to look gorgeous for months to come, then can live for years after to come back every season.  Great porch or house plant, it's also a popular Hostess party gift to give and receive

Available in Hanging Baskets too, this is Annie's favorite color

Hand-made Cedar & Cypress Birdhouses continue to be one of our most popular items. Each one is unique and yes, they will provide homes for real birds ! Many of our past customers come up to tell us about the Bird families that have set up residence in their houses

You might be seeing a lot of Yellow Cassia blooming around town right now, but I bet you have never had a Cassia plant that smells like Buttered popcorn !  You will only find it at our booths !

Especially requested, Annie has made up some pretty Holiday baskets that contain our Miniature plants and holiday decorations.  Another great gift for yourself or others

A beautiful Red Cardinal graces this basket

In addition to our newest adventure of Miniature gardens and Fairy gardens, we are using our Mini plants in unusual Glass containers. Great for home or office

A very happy customer at last Saturday's Market went home with our large Basin Miniature garden and this week, Annie will have more Mini-gardens that are ready made, as well as, we have a great selection of Mini Plants and Decor, plus kits, so you can make it yourself---a fun activity for all ages.

Well, off to load the trailer and get ready for our events, we hope you have the time to make it out to our area Community Markets and don't forget the Largo Botanical Park show.  All of us are extremely grateful for our community continuing to support LOCAL by buying LOCAL !
