Greenfest! downtown Tampa this weekend

(pic "Miss Aimee" Gardenia" )

Well, again, sorry to say we are running behind on posting on our blog, as another crazy week in between big shows keeps us runnin' !

We had a fabulous time at Leu Gardens in Orlando last weekend and now we are off to set up at Greenfest! in downtown Tampa, for the show this weekend. Great location (the Univ.of Tampa-look for the Gold Spires", just off downtown Tampa, EZ to get to by Interstate or Crosstown, and plenty of parking nearby. Google "Greenfest 2012 Tampa FL" to get all the info and maps.

Our crop of Miss Aimee Gardenias are ready for the show, the perennial Morning Glories are blooming happily and we will have a great assortment of unusual tropicals and great Butterfly garden specimens. While many of you are looking for Passion Flowers, we have the edible Purple Possem and Quadrangularis this weekend!

Here is some of our other great offerings : White & Orange Bird of Paradise; soon-to-bloom Night Blooming Jasmine; Louisiana Iris; beautiful Japanese Lantern Hibiscus Trees (schizopetalus); Wally's Yellow Hibiscus (one of the largest yellow fluffy blooms you ever will find); Thai hybrid Crown of Thorns; Silver Saw Palmetto; Agave guiengola (omg, gorgeous specimens); Chinese Croton (Exoceria), Snowbush; Spanish Lavender; yellow bush daisy; Aloe arborescence; Calla Lilies (to die for!); Citronella geranium; Tibouchina heteramalla (3 gallon and 1 gallon babies) and much much more!

To find us at the show, head on to the back (near the water) and look for us on the big wide corner--we hope to see you there !

And lastly, for those of us missing us at our markets, next weekend, we will be back at Sat. Morning Market, downtown St. Pete, plus at the Tropiflora Nursery Spring Sale in Sarasota, so stay tuned to details next week.

Meanwhile, embrace Spring and Happy Gardening !
