Hard to believe that October is just around the corner and with it, the official Fall season of Armstrong Nursery starts ! This coming weekend, we have 3 events we are participating in, so it's going to be a busy one and we hope ya'all can visit some of the events!
Sat. Oct. 3rd, Saturday Morning Market, downtown St. Pete reopens for it's 8th season. The Market will be back at the Al Lang Parking Lot on 1st street and 1st ave. south. Market hours are 9 am - 2 pm. NOTE !! Our vending location is changing with this new season and we will now be located on the 6th Row, which is the most-East row in the market nearer the water side. This row is characterized as the "Growers Row". This location will afford us a larger area for our set up. Customers will still be able to drive in to pick up large plant purchases, so check with our sales staff about that option!
Sun. Oct 4th, Sunken Gardens Pepperfest ! The garden is located at 1825 4th street No., St. Pete. The show hours are 11 am to 4pm. This is a very popular show with plant vendors from all over that will bring their specialities, as well as many pepper-related products and the very popular Pepper-eating contest! Food and drinks will be available. There is a small admission charge for non-members of the Garden, but we can assure you, it will be worth the price for this event!
Fri. Oct. 2nd through Sun. Oct. 4th, Tropiflora Nursery Fall Plant show, Sarasota, FL. Again, another great event and just a short easy drive from St. Pete and surrounding areas. Tropiflora will have great sales on their plant items, and as well, has invited us and other specialty plant vendors from around the state, to participate too.
