Thank you to the heavens for providing some much needed rain for us all today! If didn't see our previous post a few day ago, we urge you to come down to the TROPIFLORA Nursery in Sarasota this weekend. We are set up there, along with about 20 other specialty plant vendors, and of course, Tropiflora has all there great stuff out. There is some GREAT plants there that you will not see anywhere else and it's worth the trip to come down and peruse and support your local plant vendor community. They also have great BBQ to fuel your visit.
Check out tropiflora.com for info and directions. From St. Pete, it is only about a 45 minute quick drive down the interstate south to Sarasota. Once you take the University Parkway exit, it is just about 10 minutes to there. They have local parking and plenty of CARTS for everyone to use.
We are set up in the back of the property in great shady area and we've got some great new stuff, like Eucalyptus, Iris, Hollyhocks, Butterfly Wing, Passion & Pipe Vines, Gorgeous Double Purple Angel Trumpet and much more.
If you don't want to go that far, we also have a set-up at Gamble Mansion in Palmetto. Quick 30 minute drive from downtown St. Pete. Take I-275 south over the Skyway, continue onto I-75 south (towards Naples), once on I-75, take the 1st exit (301 south), take a right off the exit, come on down and you will see Gamble mansion about 2 miles down on the right.
