Anna Maria Island Show Nov. 15th and 16th

Wow, what a cool place Anna Maria Island, and Holmes Beach is ! We made lots of new friends this weekend at the A. M. Island Arts & Craft Festival that benefited the local Community Butterfly Garden. Thanks to all of you that turned out for a somewhat coolish and VERY windy weekend! We loved meeting and getting to know many local and part-timers in this wonderful community and got great feedback on our offering of unusual plant offerings.

It was such a wind-gust Sat. night, that several vendors lost their tents and set-ups to that, so our hearts go out to them, but as usual, we are a hardy bunch, and they were able to prevail to set up for sales on Sunday.

Remember, we will be at the Tomato/Founders Day Festival in Palmetto next weekend, and we hope to see you all.

We also have on our radar, the reopening of the Bradenton Farmer's Market on Old Main Street, and have high hopes to participate in that so keep an eye on local newspaper for info on that.

Also, we heard great things about the great local Fresh Market in Anna Maria, and hope to participate in that in December.

Of course, one of our primary goals, is to open our nursery in Palmetto for everyone to come out and see our unusual offering, as well as, enjoy our own little piece of the Garden of Eden. Join our blog, or at least, send us your email contact (we will not share this with anyone!) to let you know when that will happen. Otherwise, look for us at local shows and we are very lucky and feel treasured to have so much local support, especially in these trying-economic times ..thank you, thank you, and bless you all !!
